Overview: The Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our Digital Operating Model, contributing to our goal of becoming a leading digital company. As a servant leader to the DevOps delivery team, the Scrum Master coaches agile methodologies, supports team productivity, and enhances delivery velocity. This role involves identifying risks, dependencies, and impediments, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to resolve issues, and escalating when necessary to ensure progress. The Scrum Master also maintains alignment by communicating status updates, changes, and key metrics to stakeholders, preventing misalignment and roadblocks.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:
- Support the Product Owner in writing appropriately sized user stories, aligning priorities, and planning sprint iterations.
- Track and manage risks and issues within the delivery team.
- Monitor and report on the status of team members and overall delivery progress.
- Facilitate key agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and optimize agile processes and practices to enhance team performance.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning initiatives.
- Coordinate with other delivery teams, stakeholders, and partners to manage risks, interdependencies, and impediments.

- Serve as a role model for agile process execution, inspiring team members to adopt best practices.
- Stay updated on and implement industry best practices from the agile community.
- Act as a natural servant leader, coaching and developing team members while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and improving team dynamics.
- Recognized as an effective collaborator, influencer, and negotiator, adept at identifying dependencies and resolving complex blockers.
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, inspiring and updating delivery teams and senior executives.
- Exhibit strong facilitation, organization, and problem-solving skills, managing conflicts and challenges while escalating only when necessary.
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments under pressure.
- Possess a strong foundation in traditional project management practices.
- Understand business capabilities, user journeys, organizational goals, and desired product outcomes.
- Have knowledge of the telecommunications and digital services market, including emerging business and technology trends.
- Be proficient in agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, XP, LSD, and FDD.
- Understand agile ceremonies, tools, and artifacts, including retrospectives, demos, increment planning, and information radiators.
- Be skilled in user story definition, team backlog management, and backlog item estimation.
- Have experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and tools.
- Understand DevOps culture, processes, and tools.
Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience designing and delivering complex digital capabilities.
- Experience leading teams using agile methodologies in large-scale environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, MS Project, or equivalent (preferred).
