JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary: The Gate Clerk is the primary point of control for all trucks entering and exiting the facility, ensuring efficient flow and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Check and verify documentation for all trucks (e.g., Truck Manifest, Gate Pass, Bill of Lading).
• Perform visual inspection of containers for damage and record findings in the TOS.
• Direct truck drivers to the correct loading/unloading or stacking location within the yard.
• Accurately input all gate transaction data into the Terminal Operating System.
• Ensure smooth traffic flow at the gate and maintain security protocols.
  Qualifications & Experience:
• High school diploma.
• Previous experience as a gate clerk in a port, depot, or logistics company is highly desirable.
• Good computer skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Level of Education: associate degree
