Job Requirements

Main Duties

• Manage day-to-day finance operations, including receivables tracking, milestone billing reconciliation, and vendor payments.
• Maintain project cost tracking against BOQ/TPC and identify and flag cost variances.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow forecasts, and board-level financial summaries.
• Lead banking relationships and financial reporting for construction facility financing.
• Manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure and multi-currency financial reporting.
• Oversee statutory compliance, including TRA filings, BRELA, and TISEZA/EPZA reporting, where applicable.
• Coordinate with external auditors, the Company Secretary, and Navdurga Group Finance on group reporting and financial matters.
• Support fundraising and credit package preparation, including DPRs, financial models, and promoter equity structuring.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance and accounting, preferably within real estate, construction, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations, TRA requirements, and BRELA compliance.
• Strong understanding of bank credit processes, including facility structuring, DPR preparation, and covenant reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using ERP/accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fluent in English, with a strong understanding of the Tanzanian business environment.
