Duties
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out lectures, seminars, tutorials and practicals for undergraduate programmes;
- To set, invigilate and mark undergraduate examinations;
- To assist senior staff in lectures, seminars, tutorials and practicals for postgraduate programmes;
- To supervise projects and practical training for undergraduate students;
- To conduct research and publish results;
- To carry out consultancy and public services;
- To undergo postgraduate training to PhD level;
- To participate in relevant workshops and conferences; and
- To perform any other relevant duties as assigned by one’s superior.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Holder of Master’s in Gender Studies, Gender and Development, Masters of Arts in; Gender and Women Studies, Development Studies, Community Development, Sociology and Social Work; and Bachelor degree in any of the following; Gender Studies, Bachelor of Arts in; Gender Studies, Community Development, Gender Studies & Community Development, Development Studies, Bachelor of Education, Psychology, Adult and Community Education, and Counseling. Applicants for this post must possess a minimum GPA of 4.0 or a B+ average at Master’s degree level and an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.8 from a local or an internationally, reputable University recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities. They must be potentially good academically.
