Background and Purpose
The Royal Danish Embassy in Dar es Salaam is seeking to recruit two Programme Officers to support Denmark’s Strategic Sector Cooperation.
We are looking for candidates who are flexible, detail-oriented, diligent and team players, with experience from the relevant sector.
Building on Denmark’s long-standing partnerships with Tanzanian authorities, civil society, universities and private sector, the Embassy of Denmark is exploring the opportunity to establish two individual technical cooperation projects between: a) the Danish and Tanzanian Health Ministries, and b) the Danish and Tanzanian Tax Agencies.
The aim is to establish alliances that can contribute to shared expertise and experiences, as well as knowledge exchange.
The candidates will support the analytical work required in the feasibility phase of the projects and support the process to design a future project in close collaboration between Tanzanian and Danish ministries and agencies.
About the Strategic Sector Cooperation (SSC)
Denmark has for the past decade been running sector cooperation projects in a number of countries globally. These two will, however, be the first of their kind in Tanzania.
