The Bank operates over 8 branches, 1,000+ DCB Wakala Agents, and 280+ Umoja Switch ATMs, serving more than 3 million customers nationwide.
We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Relationship Manager, Institutional Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing institutional banking relationships, delivering high-quality customer service, and contributing to the Bank’s profitability and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional and liability customers to support growth and profitability.
- Cross-sell banking products and services to meet customer needs and maximize revenue.
- Monitor growth and performance of the transactional banking portfolio and develop effective tracking tools.
- Formulate and communicate business strategies to ensure clarity on performance, risks, and targets.
- Identify, assess, and report risks arising from customer relationships and transactions to safeguard the bank’s interests.
- Appraise opportunities for synergy across customer segments and maintain documented customer visit reports and relationship insights.
- Prepare sales documents, including proposals, agreements, and memos, to support timely closure of business deals.
- Maintain high service standards to retain existing clients and attract new business.
- Gather and analyze monthly market data and competitor insights to recommend strategies for liability growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for institutional customers and coordinate service delivery with internal teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Relationship Management or Institutional Banking.
- Strong understanding of liability products, institutional banking solutions, and market trends.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong business networks and customer relationships.
- Strong analytical, sales, and negotiation skills
