Role Purpose

The Product Manager will oversee the development and commercialization of electric powered vehicles. This role combines product innovation with market strategy and sales execution to ensure successful adoption and revenue growth. The position requires strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving product performance in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the product roadmap for electric powered vehicles.
  • Drive product innovation and ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Lead sales strategy for the product line, including pricing, positioning, and market penetration.
  • Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics.
  • Team management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability goals.
  • Preparation of reports on product, market and sales trends etc

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in automotive or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of EV technology
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in electric vehicle or solar-powered product development.
  • Familiarity with African market trends in sustainable transport.
  • Experience in Sales and after sales services for passenger cars
  • Corporate relations
