Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Moshi, Tanzania, for a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with Tanzanian labor laws. Responsibilities will include developing HR strategies, policies, and procedures, managing payroll, benefits administration, and providing support for employee training and development. The role also involves maintaining a positive and inclusive work culture and effectively resolving workplace conflicts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Human Resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in payroll management and benefits administration
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and training programs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or a related field
- Experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus
