JOB PURPOSE

To support the Operations Manager in overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and ensure operational efficiency, achievement of business targets, effective risk control, and implementation of company policies and procedures across all branches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and monitor branch performance (disbursements, collections, new customers, and portfolio quality).
• Ensure daily, MTD and EOM targets are achieved.
• Closely monitor collections, arrears, and defaults, and take prompt corrective actions.
• Coordinate and supervise Loan Officers and Collection Officers in collaboration with Branch Managers.
• Analyze performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines in all operations.
• Participate in risk management and prevention of non-performing loans.
• Support staff training, coaching, and disciplinary processes when required.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed action plans by Management.
• Address operational challenges and provide timely solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in Operations, Microfinance, or Banking.
• Strong understanding of the loan cycle, collections, and portfolio management.
• Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
