About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Chemistry and Biology and the ability to inspire a love for scientific inquiry in secondary school students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous lessons that prepare students for academic success at IGCSE and A-Level (or equivalent) examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in Chemistry and Biology for assigned grades.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the school’s curriculum (e.g., Cambridge, IB, or national standards).
• Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is inquiry-based, and promotes scientific thinking.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and laboratory reports.
• Manage and maintain the science laboratory, ensuring all health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development sessions.
• Integrate technology effectively into the teaching and learning process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree or teaching certification (PGCE, B.Ed.) is preferred.
• A minimum of [2-3] years of proven experience teaching Chemistry and Biology at the secondary level, preferably with IGCSE/A-Level or IB experience.
• Strong practical skills and experience in conducting laboratory experiments.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the sciences.
