WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Maintain accurate inventory records in line with Mogo Credit Tanzania’s accounting and reporting standards.
- Reconcile physical stock counts with system records and investigate any variances.
- Monitor and record all inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
- Prepare regular inventory and stock valuation reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls on inventory management.
- Support month-end and year-end inventory closing activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist in both internal and external stock audits by providing required documentation.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (Tanzania) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory accounting or related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and accounting standards.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/and ERP software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Integrity and commitment to upholding company policies and ethical standards.
