Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care at our newly established health center. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while supporting the development of clinical workflows, patient education programs, and operational systems during the center’s foundational phase.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress.
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Provide wound care, IV therapy, injections, and other nursing interventions.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life-saving measures when required.

Care Coordination

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and external healthcare providers.
  • Ensure continuity of care through proper documentation and follow-up.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and safety protocols.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in developing clinical policies and procedures for the new facility.

Patient Education & Community Outreach

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Provide health screenings and preventive care services.
  • Support community health programs and outreach initiatives.

Operational Support

  • Assist in setting up clinical systems, workflows, and supply management processes.
  • Support inventory control and medical equipment maintenance.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to building a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Education

  • At least Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure & Certification

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PALS, wound care) are an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of [1–3] years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience in primary care, outpatient, or community health settings is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a start-up or newly established healthcare facility is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a growing healthcare environment.

Working Conditions

  • May require standing for extended periods.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases and medical emergencies.
  • May include evening or weekend shifts depending on operational needs.
