About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher who can make mathematics accessible and exciting for all students. The successful candidate will be able to demystify complex concepts and foster a positive, "can-do" attitude towards the subject, preparing students for higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach mathematics across various age and ability levels, including IGCSE and A-Level (or equivalent) classes.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technology.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Identify and support students who need extra help and challenge those who are high-achievers.
  • Participate in the development of curriculum materials and assessment tools within the Mathematics department.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular program, such as math clubs or competitions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. A Postgraduate Teaching Certificate (PGCE, B.Ed.) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and a commitment to student-centered learning.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and software for teaching mathematics (e.g., graphing calculators, GeoGebra, etc.).

Personal Attributes:

  • Patient, articulate, and able to explain concepts clearly.
  • Passionate about mathematics and inspiring students.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly professional.
