WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Identify and recruit potential clients for motorbike, vehicle, or asset financing through branch walk-ins, referrals, and local outreach.
  • Assess loan applications, conduct client interviews, and collect necessary documentation in line with company credit policies.
  • Perform on-site verification of clients’ businesses, employment, or assets to ensure accurate information for credit assessment.
  • Present loan applications to the credit committee for approval with clear justification based on client profile and repayment ability.
  • Guide clients through the loan signing process, explaining contract terms, repayment schedules, and obligations.
  • Monitor assigned loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and maintain portfolio quality.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts, initiate collection actions, and coordinate with the collections team where necessary.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships to promote loyalty, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the Branch Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, credit assessment, or customer service (experience in microfinance, banking, or asset financing is an added advantage).
  • Strong understanding of credit principles, loan processes, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and ability to work with digital loan management systems.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Swahili and English (written and spoken).
  • Good understanding of the Tanzanian market and customer needs.
