Job Opportunity: Head of Finance We are recruiting a Head of Finance (Woman or Man) to lead financial operations, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance within our organization. This role is pivotal in supporting AXIAN’s growth and success in the FMCG market.

Your Profile The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA or professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage.
- A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent understanding of FMCG dynamics, pricing strategies, working capital management, and distribution models.
- In-depth knowledge of taxation and regulatory frameworks, staying updated on FMCG tax policies and legal requirements.
- Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in FMCG pricing, trade margins, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership skills and a proven ability to develop teams.
Your Challenges As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Producing accurate and timely financial reports related to stocks, budgets, accounts payable/receivable, expenses, and other financial activities.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and managing organizational budgets to ensure effective cost control and resource allocation.
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining and overseeing the fixed assets register to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Analyzing, predicting, and monitoring financial trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting to and liaising with senior leadership on all financial activities within the assigned market.
- Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (including payroll, operating, and business taxes) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Delivering fully auditable financial statements and coordinating with external auditors during audit processes.
- Performing any other related duties as assigned from time to time.
