Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager oversees all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth check-in/check-out processes, and efficient team management. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise front office staff (receptionists, concierge, bell staff) and ensure adherence to hotel policies.
- Manage guest arrivals/departures, room allocations, and VIP handling.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and maintain high service standards.
- Monitor room inventory, rates, and upselling opportunities.
- Train and mentor staff on service excellence, systems (e.g., PMS), and upselling techniques.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance for seamless operations.
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- 3+ years of front office experience (1+ years in a supervisory role).
- Proficiency in PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
