Job Summary:

The Front Office Manager oversees all front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth check-in/check-out processes, and efficient team management. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front office staff (receptionists, concierge, bell staff) and ensure adherence to hotel policies.
  • Manage guest arrivals/departures, room allocations, and VIP handling.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and maintain high service standards.
  • Monitor room inventory, rates, and upselling opportunities.
  • Train and mentor staff on service excellence, systems (e.g., PMS), and upselling techniques.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and maintenance for seamless operations.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • 3+ years of front office experience (1+ years in a supervisory role).
  • Proficiency in PMS (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
