Transport Network Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

3-5+ years of experience in telecom transport/network engineering (depending on level). Relevant certifications are a plus (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIS/JNCP, HCIA/HCIP, vendor-specific certifications)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, deploy, and maintain transport networks (DWDM, SDH, IP/MPLS, microwave, fiber).
• Monitor network performance and conduct audits, health checks, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform root-cause analysis, and improve network resilience.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and modernization activities.
• Coordinate with Planning, Vendors, NOC, Field Teams, and Regulatory on implementation and interference issues.
• Maintain accurate network designs, documentation, and operational procedures while supporting integration with mobile and fixed networks.
