Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons, including phonics, numeracy, early literacy, storytelling, and hands-on activities
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment
• Observe, track, and report student development and progress to parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and engage parents on student learning
• Support social, emotional, and creative development through activities, art, music, and physical projects
• Participate in professional development to stay updated on early childhood best practices

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Strong knowledge of phonics, numeracy, and play-based learning
• Minimum 2 years experience teaching Kindergarten (KG)
• Excellent classroom management and child-friendly approach
• Good communication skills in English (Swahili is an added advantage)
• Passionate, creative, patient, and committed to child development
