WHAT YOU WILL DO
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
- Support workforce planning to ensure timely staffing and succession readiness.
- Assist in implementing performance management processes, including setting KPIs, tracking performance, and coordinating appraisals.
- Coordinate training and development programs in line with employee and organizational needs.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, handling grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary cases in compliance with Tanzanian labor law.
- Support initiatives to drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff and managers on HR policies and best practices.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, leave, benefits, performance data) and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian employment legislation, health & safety requirements, and company policies.
- Draft and update HR policies and procedures in line with local laws and global standards.
- Support payroll administration by coordinating with Finance and ensuring accuracy of employee data.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, training hours, etc.) to identify trends and propose improvements.
- Provide regular HR reports to management to support data-driven decision-making.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in HR roles within Tanzania.
- Solid knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support a fast-paced environment.
