Role Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for aligning people management initiatives with the Bank’s overall business objectives. The position partners closely with senior management and line leaders to drive workforce effectiveness, talent development, compliance, and a strong organizational culture.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or relevant professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner or in a senior HR advisory role.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and line managers on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Translate the Bank’s business strategy into practical HR initiatives that support growth, productivity, and effective risk management.
- Partner with business leaders to attract, hire, and retain talent aligned with current and future business needs.
- Oversee workforce planning, succession planning, and talent pipelines, particularly for critical and revenue-generating roles.
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with banking regulations, labor laws, and internal governance standards.
- Drive effective performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Identify capability gaps and collaborate with HR teams to design targeted learning and development interventions.
- Support leadership development and coaching initiatives for managers and high-potential employees.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant case management.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the Bank’s values, ethics, and service standards.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and advise management on engagement insights and improvement actions.
- Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with labor laws, banking regulations, and internal policies.
- Support HR-related audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control processes.
- Advise management on HR risk areas and recommend mitigation strategies.
