Background

Apex Workforce Solutions is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Coordinator to join their team. This role is crucial for managing employee compensation and benefits programs within the manufacturing/FMCG industry.

Responsibilities

The Compensation & Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance.
  • Administering employee benefits including medical, insurance, pension, and wellness programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, WCF, SDL, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate employee data in HRIS/ERP systems (SAP/SAGE).
  • Preparing payroll reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reports.
  • Supporting compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, and policy implementation.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA Certification is required (HR professional certification is an added advantage).
  • A minimum of 5 years' general work experience.
  • At least 3 years' hands-on experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits.
  • Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments is preferred.
