Job Purpose
The Station Technical Support personnel provide on-site support and maintenance for equipment installed at station locations. This role ensures the availability and reliability of system components, including gates, terminals, communication devices, and power systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine maintenance and inspections of station equipment.
- Respond to technical issues and perform on-site troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with central teams to report faults and implement fixes.
- Support installation, configuration, and replacement of devices at field locations.
- Ensure systems are functional during operational hours and meet performance standards.
- Maintain station-level inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Document technical work, issues identified, and actions taken.
- Support safety, security, and compliance requirements during technical tasks.
Education
- Required Qualifications Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ICT, or related technical field.
- Basic training in equipment repair or systems installation is a plus.
- Experience At least 1–2 years of experience in technical field support or device maintenance. Familiarity with system terminals, sensors, or control panels is preferred.

- Hands-on problem-solving and equipment repair skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Basic understanding of networked systems or power systems.
- Ability to work independently and travel between station locations. Commitment to health, safety, and operational protocols.
- Performance Metrics Response time to station-level technical issues Operational uptime of supported equipment Accuracy of technical reports and documentation Inventory readiness and tool management Compliance with safety and technical procedures
