JOB DETAILS:
Mining Tech Support
Mining | Mwanza
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for resolving complex technical issues related to mining equipment.
- Provide technical support to service operations, mining sites & customers.
- Liaise with manufacturers & suppliers on product issues, technical support & system improvements.
- Provide technical training & support to internal teams & customers on product systems & reporting processes.
- Monitor product performance & prepare regular reports on key technical issues & trends.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 10+ years’ experience in mining equipment service & technical support, including hands-on field experience.
- Strong knowledge of heavy mining equipment systems including hydraulics, electrical systems & transmissions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics & engineering drawings.
- Experience working with manufacturer systems (e.g., Caterpillar SIS, DSN, or similar platforms).
