Job Summary:

To lead and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop, including fitters, mechanics, and machine operators, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and fabrication services to support production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and assign daily work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor workshop personnel.
  • Oversee quality of repairs and fabrication work, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Manage workshop inventory, tools, and spare parts.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to prioritize urgent repairs.
  • Prepare reports on workshop performance, downtime, and resource utilization.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or manufacturing workshop.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
