We’re Hiring
The Workshop Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, servicing, and maintenance of leased machinery and equipment. The role ensures all equipment is maintained in excellent working condition, complies with safety standards, and is ready for customer rental and field operations.
Key Activities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on leased machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine faults using appropriate diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure workshop tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with HSE standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide field service support when required.
- Report major equipment issues and maintenance recommendations to the Workshop Manager.
- Support inventory control by reporting spare parts requirements
- Test equipment after repairs to verify safe and efficient operation
Job Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or workshop operations.
- Experience working with industrial equipment is an advantage.
