JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational training programs, initiatives and systems across Tanzania locations.
• Ensure alignment of training content and delivery with operational and safety standards – at a group level but tailored to meet the requirements locally.
• Lead the design, development and implementation of training packages.
• Conduct regular training needs assessments in a clearly defined cyclical fashion.
• Coach and support filed trainers and HSE personnel to ensure consistency and effectiveness in training delivery within the Country.
• Monitor and report on training compliance.
• Have a continuous improvement mindset for the training delivery in Tanzania, taking onboard regular feedback and implementing actions.
• Be a strong partner with operations to ensure training is seen as a priority for the business in Tanzania.
• Liaise with external training vendors as appropriate, including IACA.
• Any other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Training.
• Workplace Assessor Accreditation
• At least 10 years experience in the Mining (Surface and Underground) and Exploration Industry.
• At least 5 years practical Training experience within the Drilling Industry

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
