Job Profile:
To manage and execute the Bank’s fixed income and foreign exchange trading activities by optimizing investment returns, managing liquidity, and mitigating market risks in line with approved treasury policies, regulatory requirements, and the Bank’s overall financial strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To drive bank’s revenue by actively trading interest rate exchange and fixed income products.
- To execute trades (spot, forwards, swaps) in line with approved internal and regulatory limits.
- To monitor market trends, interest rates, yield curves, and FX trends to identify trading and hedging opportunities.
- To maintain relationships with the bank’s counterparties, brokers, and correspondent banks.
- To provide market insights and reports to management, new products, currencies, or trading systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACI Dealing Certificate).
- At least 3 years relevant experience in fixed income and FX trading, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of treasury products, financial markets, and trading practices.
