JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Security Guard is responsible for protecting the company's property, assets, and personnel. They maintain a secure and safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocol.
- Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the property, either on foot or by vehicle. Monitor surveillance systems if available.
- Incident Response: Respond to alarms and emergencies, investigating disturbances and taking appropriate action as per procedures.
- Reporting: Write detailed, accurate reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Customer Service: Provide a visible security presence and offer assistance to employees and visitors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position is preferred.
- A valid security guard license/certification as required by local or national law.
- Vigilant, observant, and honest with high integrity.
- Basic first aid and CPR knowledge is an advantage.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
