We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our newly established health center. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while supporting administrative functions, including health insurance processing and basic human resource support. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and a good understanding of health insurance procedures and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Services

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Maintain an organized reception area
  • Register new patients and update existing patient records
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations

Health Insurance Administration

  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Process insurance claims and pre-authorizations
  • Communicate with insurance providers regarding claims and billing issues
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions and documentation
  • Maintain accurate insurance records and follow up on outstanding claims

Human Resource Support

  • Assist with staff attendance tracking and record keeping
  • Support recruitment processes (scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records)
  • Help maintain employee files and HR documentation
  • Coordinate staff onboarding documentation
  • Support internal communication between management and staff

Administrative Duties

  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors
  • Prepare reports and maintain administrative records
  • Support management with general clerical tasks
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of health insurance processes and medical billing procedures
  • Basic understanding of human resource functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and office management software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
