JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

To provide clinical ophthalmology services, teach eye care professionals, and conduct vision research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medical and surgical ophthalmology care.
• Teach ophthalmology to students, residents, and ophthalmic assistants.
• Conduct research in cataract, glaucoma, retinal diseases, pediatric ophthalmology, or community eye health.
• Supervise clinical and surgical training.
• Participate in blindness prevention, vision screening, and outreach programs.
• Contribute to eye bank and corneal transplantation services.

Requirements:

• MMed in Ophthalmology; PhD or research experience beneficial.
• Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
• Surgical skills and clinical experience.
• Teaching and mentoring ability.
• Commitment to vision health advocacy.
