The Maintenance Technician is accountable for the upkeep, inspection, and repair of all electrical, and safety equipment at the depot to ensure uninterrupted and safe operation of fuel handling and storage activities. This role is critical in supporting operational integrity, reducing downtime, maintaining compliance, and preventing failures that could disrupt operations or cause safety hazards.

• PREVENTIVE & CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE: Perform scheduled maintenance, timely repairs, and monitor depot infrastructure to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• EQUIPMENT & ASSET MANAGEMENT: Maintain asset register, ensure tools and equipment are properly stored, labeled, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• COMPLIANCE & SAFETY: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, technical standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
• EMERGENCY RESPONSE & SUPPORT: Respond to breakdowns and support emergency response efforts to minimize downtime.
• DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING: Keep accurate maintenance records, report daily activities, and manage inventory of spare parts and consumables.

• Ability to read technical manuals, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools safely.
• Team-oriented with good communication and time management skills.

• Technical Diploma or Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• Additional certifications in safety practices or equipment maintenance are an advantage.
• MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF: Mechanical and electrical systems in oil and gas depots. Preventive maintenance practices and fault diagnosis. HSSEQ standards and emergency procedures. Spare parts and asset management principles.
