Job Summary

A dynamic and growing organization in the hospitality and production sectors is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer who will be for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all machinery, equipment, and facilities. The role ensures preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out effectively while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

• Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of machines, equipment, and building systems.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.

Planning & Documentation

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history records.
• Prepare reports on maintenance performance, issues, and completed tasks.

Equipment & Facility Management

• Ensure all facility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.) are functioning properly.
• Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs or specialized services.
• Assist in installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments for equipment and facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, municipal regulations, and internal safety standards.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and reduce costs.
• Participate in energy-saving initiatives and operational optimization programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems and CMMS is an added advantage.
