Job Summary:
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. The role ensures uninterrupted production, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement .
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory .
- Source and manage suppliers, negotiating contracts for competitive pricing, quality, and delivery .
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing transportation costs .
- Plan material requirements based on sales forecasts and production schedules .
- Ensure supply chain activities comply with applicable regulations and quality standards .
- Define and monitor KPIs related to inventory turnover, supplier performance, and OTIF delivery .
- Lead and develop the supply chain and logistics team .
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field .
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in supply chain or logistics roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing supply chains, BOMs, MRP, and production planning .
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
