Green Life Microfinance: Loan Officer Internship Opportunity

Loan Officer Intern

• Assist Loan Officers in reviewing loan applications and supporting documents.
• Prepare loan application packages for submission to underwriting.
• Communicate with clients to gather additional information as needed.
• Assist in conducting initial credit and background checks
• Learn to evaluate loan eligibility and provide recommendations to loan officers.
• Help in maintaining accurate client files and records.
• Conduct research on lending regulations and financial trends.
• Attend client meetings and observe the loan approval process.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree program or Diploma in Microfinance Management, Business, Education, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in financial services and lending.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
