Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Latex Paint Sales Specialist to develop and manage key accounts within the Dar es Salaam city. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, preferably within the paint, coatings, building materials, or chemical distribution industries. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets and promoting our extensive range of latex paint products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.
2. Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients, including painting contractors, architectural firms, hardware stores, and large retail chains.
3. Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with existing key accounts through regular contact and exceptional service.
4. Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the technical features, benefits, and applications of our latex paint products.
5. Provide expert technical advice and color consultation to clients, addressing their specific project needs.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and initiatives.
7. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing regular reports to management.
8. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and generate new leads.
9. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in a B2B sales role.
- Experience in the paint, coatings, chemicals, or building materials industry is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred:
Technical knowledge of latex paint formulations, applications, and industry standards.
Existing network of contacts within the local painting, construction, or retail industries.
