JOB LOCATION: Manyara, Morogoro and Mbeya regions of Tanzania
POSITION: INVESTMENT OFFICER – 3 POSTS
The Investment Officer will be directly responsible for handling DUARA customers, including attracting new customers, appraising applications for loans, and monitoring active customers
Main Responsivities:
- Identify and recruit potential clients in the target market and promote the organization’s financial products.
- Conduct business and credit assessments for loan applicants.
- Perform field visits to clients’ business locations to verify information and evaluate business viability.
- Prepare and submit loan appraisal reports and investment proposals to the Credit Committee.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of clients to ensure proper loan utilization and timely repayment.
- Maintain regular communication with clients through phone calls and site visits.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during the loan application process.
- Identify potential risks in client businesses and recommend appropriate actions.
- Maintain accurate client records and update information in the company system.
- Work closely with branch management and other departments to support business growth and client development.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing and related field.
- Must have at least one year of work experience
- Must have a valid driving License
- Should have Computer Skills:
- Must have Communication, Analytic, Sales and Marketing, and Problem-solving skills.
- Must be Knowledgeable in: Mathematics, Business Appraisal and SME Financing.
