The Role

To manage inventory and procurement processes, ensuring accurate stock control and reporting. In coordination with the Operations Supervisor, the role supports operational efficiency by providing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on expiry, short-expiry, and vintage stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all stock movements and ensure accurate ERP recording.
  • Validate receipts (GRN), put-away, and bin allocation; maintain batch, expiry, and product vintage records.
  • Enforce FIFO, storage standards, and product quality handling.
  • Lead periodic reconciliations (ERP vs. TANCIS) and upload monthly duty-free sales.
  • Coordinate customs clearance for international shipments.
  • Plan and execute perpetual and annual physical inventory counts, report discrepancies. Oversee damaged/expired stock, write-offs, and product destruction per policy and regulations.
  • Optimize par levels and monitor short-expiry items to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Produce accurate monthly inventory reports for financial and management reviews.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and recommend process improvements or corrective actions.
  • Act as first contact for new supplier/product enquiries; screen and align with Buyer (Retail) or F&B leadership.
  • Maintain item master library, range plans, and forecasting tools for accurate decision-making.
  • Liaise with Commercial Finance, Buyer, and Head Chef for margin approvals on new listings.
  • Manage supplier price lists and coordinate trade agreement updates with Pricing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Min 4 years’ experience ideally with management of small teams of diverse nationalities and abilities
  • Basic knowledge of audit, internal controls, and accounting.
  • Previous experience of FMC Environments and products is essential.
  • Exposure to ERP/WMS, including use of RF technology
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to stock control methods
  • Computer literate, able to compile reports and spreadsheet analysis using the MS Office suite.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Confident individual with a balanced pragmatic view for service delivery, resilient personality/ Self motivator/ achiever/ physically fit.
  • Process-oriented with a systematic approach to issues.
  • Excellent communicator in verbal and written mediums in English.
  • Team player who can earn respect and is comfortable working in results-oriented environments.
  • Experience modern warehouse layouts, including racking configuration and pick face useful
