JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

To serve as an academic physician in Internal Medicine, with subspecialty expertise, providing clinical care, teaching, and research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient internal medicine care, with possible subspecialty focus (cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, etc.).
• Teach medical students and residents in clinical and classroom settings.
• Conduct clinical or translational research in a medical subspecialty.
• Mentor junior faculty, residents, and medical students.
• Lead multidisciplinary patient management, grand rounds, and journal clubs.
• Contribute to clinical guidelines and hospital protocols.

Requirements:

• MMed in Internal Medicine; subspecialty fellowship preferred.
• PhD or research experience advantageous.
• Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
• Clinical teaching experience.
• Commitment to academic medicine and patient care.
