Background:

Maternity Africa is a Christian-based not-for-profit organization that provides fistula treatment and quality maternity care for marginalized women in Tanzania.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day operational and administrative tasks in Human Resources.
• Supervise activities in HR departments.
• Conduct reference checks on new employees and volunteers.
• Prepare employment contracts and maintain effective contract planning.
• Conduct employee surveys and exit interviews.
• Ensure orientation plans for new staff.
• Update HR database and maintain staff records.
• Review employee attendance and rosters.
• Collaborate with HR Manager to improve HR processes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Human Resources Management or Public Administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Tanzanian employment laws.
• Eager and willing to learn.
