We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources & Administration Manager to lead the establishment’s high-performing workforce, implement best-practice human resource and administrative systems, and foster a culture of excellence that reflects our commitment to exceptional guest service.

Human Resources & Administration Manager – 01 Position
Location
Arusha, with travel to company properties as required
Position summary
Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the Human Resources & Administration Manager will provide strategic leadership in all aspects of human resource(s) and administration across the Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing robust HR policies, systems and procedures, attracting and developing talent, ensuring compliance with labour legislation, and overseeing the Company’s administrative support services to enable efficient business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and continuously improve the Company’s Human Resources policies, procedures and systems.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction of employees.
- Design and implement performance management and employee development programs.
- Coordinate staff training and succession planning initiatives.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes and grievance handling.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour legislation and employment best practices.
- Oversee compensation, benefits administration, leave management and personnel records.
- Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes professionalism, accountability and service excellence.
- Establish and oversee efficient administrative systems and operational procedures.
- Manage office administration, company assets and records.
- Oversee procurement of office equipment and administrative supplies.
- Coordinate facilities management, security services, utilities and office maintenance.
- Supervise administrative personnel and service providers.
- Maintain company records and administrative documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Professional HR certification is desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in the hospitality, tourism, hotel, or lodge industry will be highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience establishing HR and administrative systems.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor legislation.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
