JOB DETAILS:

Health Attendant (2 Positions)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• i. Clean equipment, wards, and surrounding environments.
• ii. Assist disabled and dependent patients with personal hygiene and toileting.
• iii. Assist and feed dependent patients.
• iv. Take patients’ clothes for laundry.
• v. Deliver laboratory samples and follow up on results.
• vi. Prepare equipment for wound cleaning and dressing.
• vii. Follow up on medicine requirements from the pharmacy store.
• viii. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• a) Holder of a Certificate of Secondary Education and a One-Year Health Training Certificate from a college recognized by NACTE.
• b) Must not be employed.
• c) Must be ready to work at any assigned health facility.
• d) Must not have volunteered in Kyerwa District Council for more than two years.

Work Hours: 8
