A well-established agricultural enterprise is seeking a Head of IT to oversee all technology systems, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives across its operations.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives and long-term goals
• Lead and inspire the IT team to ensure successful execution of IT projects and operational effectiveness
• Provide expert advice to the executive team on emerging technology trends and opportunities to improve organizational performance
• Evaluate and recommend industry-specific software and technologies that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness
• Ensure that IT services and solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices in the industry

Qualifications or requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology computer science, or a related field. Added advantage: Master’s Degree in IT Management or related fields
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are advantageous
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in IT leadership, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a complex, multi-departmental organization
• Proven experience managing IT teams and IT infrastructure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with IT strategy development and implementation, experience with advanced cybersecurity frameworks, disaster recovery, incidents response, and IT service management

Experience needed:

• Experience in leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation especially Microsoft Dynamics
