Background

Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL) is inviting qualified and experienced Tanzanians to apply for the position of Fabricator. The successful candidates will report to the Machining and Fabrication Supervisor and will be responsible for carrying out metal fabrication works required for maintenance, repair, and production support within the industrial facility.

The role requires practical skills in welding, metal fabrication, interpretation of technical drawings, and operation of fabrication tools and equipment. The selected candidates will ensure that all fabricated components meet required specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling metal materials according to job requirements
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications
• Performing welding and fitting activities to assemble metal structures and components
• Operating fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, drills, presses, and welding tools
• Inspecting finished workpieces to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
• Adhering to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures during all fabrication activities
• Maintaining safe working practices and proper use of fabrication tools and equipment
• Performing any other lawful duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications and requirements:

• Form IV certificate
• NTA Level III in Welding and Fabrication or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of three (3) years working experience in welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication specifications
• Strong practical skills in welding and metal fabrication
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial workshop environment
