JOB DETAILS:

Equipment Technician

Department: Engineering

Reports To: Shift Engineer

Job Purpose

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hotel equipment to ensure continuous operation of all engineering systems and minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to maintenance schedules.
• Install and test new equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Report major equipment failures to the Shift Engineer.
• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good condition.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
