Background

The English Teacher develops students' proficiency in English language and literature, fostering effective communication and a love for reading.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons covering language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Introduce students to a range of literary texts (prose, poetry, and drama) from Malawi, Africa, and around the world, developing analytical and interpretive skills.
• Guide students in writing essays, creative pieces, summaries, and formal correspondence, focusing on structure, style, and clarity.
• Develop students' oral communication skills for presentations, debates, and everyday interactions.
• Foster a love for reading through book clubs, library visits, and independent reading challenges.
