Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Evaluation: Undertakes effectively the monitoring and evaluation of Electrical installations in order to facilitate interventions.

Planned Maintenance: Undertakes efficiently the implementation of periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations and machines in order to ensure their working order

Corrective Maintenance: Undertakes timely repair of electrical systems and machines in case of breakdowns in order to prevent disruptions of operations

Custody of Tools and Materials: Undertakes effectively safe custody of spares and tools for the section in order to prevent damages and losses

Records Keeping: Undertakes timely the compilation of preventive and corrective maintenance documentation in order to retain a record for the section.

House Keeping: Ensures regularly good housekeeping of work sites in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safety of staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Form IV Certificate
• Advanced Certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Member of Engineers Registration Board (ERB)

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to write technical report
• Trouble shooting skills
• Computer literacy
• Team working skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Swahili

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
