Role Summary
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing ALKO Vintages’ digital presence across all online platforms and executing performance-driven digital campaigns that increase brand visibility, engagement, and consumer awareness.
This is a hands-on execution role focused on digital advertising, social media management, and content coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1 . Social Media Management
- Manage daily operations of company social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube (when applicable).
- Plan and maintain monthly content calendars.
- Schedule and publish posts, reels, and stories consistently.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Maintain consistent brand tone and visual identity.
2. Digital Advertising (Core Responsibility)
- Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and TikTok Ads.
- Set campaign objectives, audiences, and budgets.
- Monitor ad performance daily and optimize campaigns.
- Conduct A/B testing for creatives and audiences.
- Ensure efficient use of advertising budgets.
3. Content Coordination & Creation
- Coordinate creation of digital content including product photography, promotional videos, event coverage, and lifestyle content.
- Work with photographers, videographers, and designers.
- Capture basic mobile content during activations and events when required.
- Ensure content aligns with brand positioning.
4. Campaign Execution
- Execute digital campaigns supporting product promotions, brand launches, events and sponsorships, and seasonal marketing activities.
- Support marketing calendar implementation through digital channels.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze digital performance metrics including reach, impressions, engagement rates, audience growth, and ad performance.
- Prepare monthly digital performance reports.
- Provide recommendations for improvement based on data.
6. Online Brand Presence & Reputation
- Monitor brand mentions and online conversations.
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and feedback.
- Maintain positive brand image online.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in social media engagement and followers.
- Paid advertising performance (CTR, CPM, engagement).
- Consistency of posting and campaign execution.
- Quality and timeliness of reports.
- Improvement in brand visibility online.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience managing digital marketing platforms.
- Proven experience running Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Portfolio or examples of previous digital work required.
Required Skills
- Google Ads campaign management.
- Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager expertise.
- Social media content planning and execution.
- Basic photo/video content creation using mobile devices.
- Strong copywriting skills in English and Swahili.
- Understanding of digital analytics tools.
Preferred Experience
- FMCG, beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brand experience.
- Canva, Adobe, or basic graphic design skills.
- Experience covering events and brand activations.
