Job Function

Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely movement and storage of containers within the terminal.

This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including shipping lines, logistics companies, and terminal operations teams, to manage the flow of cargo in line with schedules and regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensure manifest/BAPLIE are available and updated in Zodiac
• Ensure Import BAPLIE matches with manifest (no of containers, Master BL)
• Ensure POD are updated for every vessel visit
• Ensure amendment of place of delivery are updated and customers notified.
• Ensure Transit codes are available for import/exports
• Ensure loading results report are submitted in TANCIS for every vessel visit.
• Ensure discharge report are submitted in TANCIS for every vessel visit.
• Ensure short-landed/overlanded containers are notified to shipping lines and that TANCIS approval has been received
• Ensure that shipping line is notified on export pre-load containers for every vessel visit
• Ensure list of scanned containers in TANCIS matches with Zodiac
• Ensure daily yard stock and age report is submitted internally and updated in TANCIS
• Ensure that customers are notified on their overstayed cargo as per yard age report
• Coordinate transit cargo for stuffing/export in TANCIS
• Ensure handling of high risk/dangerous cargo is properly communicated to yard and vessel planners
• Coordinate with Customs, DPW customer service and billing, Equipment control and yard planners on container physical verification
• Ensure customers receive booking notification for container physical verification through TeSWS. Ensure physical verification report is submitted
• Coordinate simple transfer of containers between terminals in TANCIS

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics,Transport Management, Shipping and Port Management, Maritime Studies, Supply Chain Management or similar.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Experience in container terminal operations from 3:5years in terminal operations.
• Understanding of TANCIS portal.
• Work experience in container terminal operating system · Excellent computer operating skills with high skill on Microsoft Excel.
• Decision making and analytical ability
