The Casual Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support construction, maintenance, and operational activities. This role requires a high level of physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to follow direct instructions to ensure the smooth and safe running of the worksite.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) by holding materials, tools, and equipment.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport raw materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite.
• Site Preparation: Dig trenches, compact earth, remove rubble, and prepare surfaces for construction or paving.
• Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of waste according to safety protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate basic hand tools (shovels, picks, hammers) and small power tools under supervision.
• Traffic Control: Set up barricades, cones, and safety signs to control traffic flow around the work area.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in construction or physical labor is an advantage but not required (on-the-job training provided).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs/25 kg), stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Certifications: Valid Driver’s License preferred. Safety training (e.g., OSHA 10) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Punctuality, strong work ethic, ability to take direction.
