Description

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the branch team (Loan Officers, DC Field Agents, and support staff) to achieve set sales, portfolio quality, and customer service targets.
  • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the loan portfolio while maintaining healthy repayment rates.
  • Monitor loan disbursement, portfolio performance, and collection efficiency; take corrective action when necessary.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify training needs for staff to enhance productivity.
  • Ensure early intervention on high-risk accounts through courtesy visits and proactive follow-up.
  • Build strong community and customer relationships to promote brand visibility and generate business opportunities.
  • Analyze branch performance reports and present findings with recommendations to the Regional Manager.
  • Safeguard company assets at the branch, including cash, equipment, and client files, by enforcing strict control measures.
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused work culture that aligns with Mogo’s values and service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales & Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services, microfinance, banking, or asset financing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or branch management role.
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets, managing loan portfolios, and improving collection efficiency.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with loan management systems.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
